As we look through the President's tweets remember that we didn't elect Dan Quayle because he misspelled "potato"

Banning non-nicotine “flavored” vapes because someone creating vaped THC which is harmful is like banning root beer because the Duke Boys* are running wood alcohol.

*Of course Coy and Vance Duke. Bo and Luke would never do such a thing.

Just posted this comment on a friend's post about the recent issues involving vaping.

I'm pretty sure that Juul is supporting the investigations. By getting the government to regulate them, enforce product testing, etc they kill the underground market (where all this started) and put up a barrier for entry for new competition. The cigarette industry did all this back in the 50's and 60's. I'm sure RJR's money comes with some industry knowledge.

I don't know what the worst part of this email is:

1) The Password
2) The Privacy Statement
3) The Disclaimer stating to delete the email if it's sent in error.

If you're acknowledging that you might mis-deliver the email DON'T F'N put my password in it.

Protip: Always be wary of systems that have a maximum length for passwords. It's an indication that they might not be hashing your passwords.

I'm sitting here thinking that I would have liked to have seen Terrance Dicks' take on the "modern" Doctors

I have a number of automated searches on craigslist that help me find webdev clients. I also search gigs for photography work to, just monitoring for now.

This add popped up in my searches and I'm shaking my head. I really don't understand why someone would think this would work.

The odd thing about this #LondonSeries game is not the dimensions of park. It's not the acre of foul territory. It's watching a game where the #yankees and #redsox are both wearing their home uniforms.

A friend was speculating about the target register outage being a fry run for a larger attack of more realtors. Here is my answer:

Anyone with the time, power and access to effect a nationwide shutdown of Target registers would be better off keeping it quiet and profiting off of the information they have access to. They wouldn't announce to the world they had control by shutting things down.

If there's a vulnerability you don't do a test run this large because it will get patched now and the fix that will get spread to kmart, walmart, etc.

It also occurs to me if the goal is to destabilize the economy you don't do this on June 15, you do it on Black Friday.
